Latest news from the Hub’s board

Our board met on the 31st May, as we do every month. The focus of our discussion last night included:

  1. the need to update our constitution so it better reflects our work as a not-for-profit cooperative which is run for the benefit of the community. Keep an eye on our website for more detailed information about this in the next week or so.
  2. we also discussed plans for the Hub’s birthday party on 25th June – save the date, and watch out for more details here and on our website shortly.
  3. We discussed plans for our staff & board workshop on 10th June where we will be talking about the (massive) role of volunteers at the hub.
  4. Last but not least we celebrated the news that we have got some new tech support for our website – let us know if there are any improvements or changes you would like us to make.

Our board meetings are every 4 weeks – you can find future dates in our calendar, minutes of past meetings on the ‘about us’ section of our website, and any co-operative member is welcome to come along and observe if they are interested in how the Hub is managed and run by and for the community.

If there is anything you’d like to tell or ask the board, including suggestions for what we should discuss at future meetings, let us know via membership@lordshiphub.org.uk
