The Hub Café opened in 2013 and has since become a go-to destination for park users. Run by a team of café managers and amazing volunteers, it serves delicious and affordable food all year around. From warm soups in the winter to energy boosting salads in the summer. There is something for everyone.

Please see sample menu.

We make everything from scratch and keep dietary needs in mind. There is also a kids’ menu to keep the fussy eaters happy, as well as a selection of books and toys to keep little hands busy. We have indoor and outdoor sheltered seating so you can enjoy our menu all year around. All our food and drinks can be consumed on site or as takeaway.

Winter opening hours:

  • Monday-Sunday: 10am – 4pm except Thursdays. Early opening at 9am on Saturdays and Sundays.

Want to help?

We always need more volunteers to help with all aspects of running the café.

Volunteering can be a 3-4 hour stint once a week or more often if you can. We ideally need at least four people in the café on busy days, especially at weekends, so the more volunteers we have, the better! We will encourage you to work on what you are interested in – just come to talk to us.

If you would like to volunteer in the café, you can check out our volunteer section or email our volunteer coordinator Albertina at or ring her on 020 8885 5684 to arrange to talk about what you wish to do.

The type of jobs you would be helping with include

  • Helping with food preparation and display
  • Welcoming customers and Hub users
  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Serving food and drink to customers
  • Taking payments for food and drink
  • Clearing tables and cleaning kitchen
