Membership

As a community co-operative, everything we do at the Hub is shaped by the people around us. We aim to offer things our community needs, enjoys, and finds useful – and that starts with you. Your ideas, input and involvement help us create a warm, welcoming space that truly belongs to everyone.

We’re looking for:

  • Your ideas and feedback
  • Your involvement, as much or as little as you can give, in your own time
  • We particularly welcome active members – get involved in one of our working groups or on the Hub board

The standard fee is £10 per year, but you are welcome to pay more if you’d like to support the Hub further. We can also offer a reduced rate of £5 if that’s more manageable – just do what works for your.

We welcome everyone who supports our vision and values.

Payment for membership will be taken on the date you sign up. It will be automatically renewed yearly, unless we are notified otherwise. We accept either individual membership or membership for groups and organisations. If you work or volunteer for the Hub, you are eligible for free membership.

Our Vision & Values:
Supporting, promoting, enabling and inspiring park users’ health, well-being, enjoyment, environmental awareness and practice, social cohesion and community spirit, empowerment, co-operation and mutual aid by being responsive to the ideas, desires and needs of park users and the local community in all of its diversity. We want Lordship Recreation Ground to provide one of the best local park experiences in North London.

It is very important to Lordship Hub that it is run with co-operative ethics and values at its heart. This means the involvement of Hub users and the wider community as active members who guide its development, planning and day-to-day running. This is the key to ensuring we continue to provide a good, relevant and useful facility for our community. Our organisation is based on the following Co-operative values and ethics.

There are plenty of other ways to support the Hub. If you would like to help your Hub to continue to employ local people on real living wages, support volunteers, run community events and support groups in the park, you might want to make a regular donation to the Hub.
