Green Action in Central Tottenham
We are encouraging local community action to promote green ideas, projects, campaigns and activities to achieve a more sustainable society.
Our building is a carbon-neutral design (with straw bale walls for insultation), and we have installed a weather station to raise awareness of the importance of climate change. In the park the Friends of Lordship Rec have dramatically improved its biodiversity and have a number of working groups people can join to help out. However, in response to the worsening global climate and biodiversity crisis, there is much to be done throughout our communities to transform our society into one that is genuinely sustainable in the long term. That’s why we have now helped set up Green Action for Central Tottenham. Together we can make a real difference!
