Tottenham Flower & Produce Festival: Children’s Workshops at Lordship Hub – August & September 2026

Looking for free family activities over the summer holidays? Join us at Lordship Hub for a fantastic programme of Children’s Workshops as part of the Tottenham Flower & Produce Festival.

All Lordship Hub workshops are FREE and no booking is required. Simply turn up and get creative! From nature crafts and gardening to bird-themed activities and sensory play, there’s something for every young explorer.

August Workshops:

Growing Aliens – Mushroom Growing for Children

Saturday 1 August | 1:30pm – 3:30pm

Discover the fascinating world of mushrooms in this fun and informative family workshop.

Transfer Fabric Printing

Tuesday 11 August | 1:30pm – 3:30pm

Create colourful fabric prints using drawings inspired by nature.

Natural Frames Workshop

Wednesday 12 August | 1:30pm

Make your own beautiful picture frame using sticks, leaves, flowers and other natural materials.

Bird ID & Bird Painting Workshop

Friday 14 August | 2:30pm – 4:00pm

Learn about UK garden birds before creating your own bird-inspired artwork.

Light a Fire & Learn Bushcraft (Harmony Gardens – BWF Community Centre)

Friday 14 August | 11:00am – 1:00pm

Please note: This workshop takes place at Harmony Gardens – BWF Community Centre, not at Lordship Hub.

Enjoy a relaxed outdoor session where you’ll learn how to light a campfire safely, discover bushcraft and camping skills, connect with nature, and toast marshmallows with experienced instructors.

Create colourful sensory bottles using a range of materials in this calming, hands-on activity.

Cress Hedgehogs – Grow a Hedgehog with Hair!

Design your own hedgehog, plant cress seeds, and watch it grow at home.

Miniature Gardens – Build Your Own Magical World!

Friday 28 August | 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Create your own fairy garden, dinosaur world, woodland retreat or magical landscape using plants and natural materials.

DIY Bird House

Saturday 29 August | 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Transform recycled materials into eco-friendly bird feeders while learning how to support local wildlife.

September Workshop:

Crazy Scarecrow Fashion Show

Saturday 5 September | 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Design, build, dress and name your very own scarecrow before taking part in a fun fashion show. This creative workshop encourages imagination, storytelling and confidence-building while using recycled materials.
