Feedback from our user workshop

On Saturday 18th May the Hub held a feedback workshop with our users and our cooperative members.

We asked them what they like about the Hub, and what they want us to continue doing. We also asked them if there were things they’d like to see improve or change in future.

The cooperative’s board will be using the feedback from users to inform the priorities we set for the coming year.

We will be discussing these priorities at the next board meeting on . These happen on the third Wednesday of every month and any Hub user can observe the meeting or read the minutes afterwards.

Thank you very much to everyone who took part on the day. If you attended the workshop and think this summary has missed something important, please leave a comment to make sure it is included.

Read on to find out in more detail what happened at the workshop.

Wall of praise

We started by asking people what they liked about the Hub and got lots of lovely feedback.

Reflections

We then asked people to explain how they use the Hub – whether it was volunteering, using the cafe or attending events.

Next, we asked everyone to share examples of where the Hub could improve or change in future.

Ideas

There were 4 themes which emerged from the reflections session:

  • How can we manage our workload better?
  • How can we identify and support more volunteers?
  • How can we articulate and promote our volunteer opportunities better?
  • How can we encourage more young people to use and be involved in the Hub?

We split into 2 smaller groups and thought of some ideas to help answer these questions.

Next steps

The cooperative’s board will be using this feedback and the ideas generated to inform the priorities we set for the coming year

We will be agreeing these priorities at the next board meeting. These happen on the third Wednesday of every month and any Hub user can observe the meeting or read the minutes afterwards.
