Community day at the hub

Come and join us for our community day at the Hub. A whole day of activities and events at From bike checks and balance bike sessions, graffiti workshops and crafts to Hula Hooping there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Don’t forget we will also be holding our AGM from 2pm, we would love you to pop in to have your day on the future of the Hub.

Saturday 14th March

• 11-4.30 Wheely Tots
• 11am to 1.45pm Bike checks and fitting for children and adults. Learn to be safe and comfortable on your bike.
• 1 to 1.45pm Parent and toddler balance bike session in the Model Traffic Area. You can borrow a bike.
• Rockstone Bike Hut 11am-3pm Dr Bike will offer free advice and help with your bike. Graffiti Art Workshop 11am-4pm Spray painting for 5yrs+ on 2ft by 2ft boards, £7 each. Express yourself!
• Bird Survey From 11.30am pick up a bird ID chart from the Hub stall.
• Tree Planting in the Rec 12-1.30pm – Adopt a Tree. Plant a baby fruit tree in Lordship Rec Orchard. Please ring Sally to book 07757 333 202.
• Art Workshop 11am-1.45pm. – Make beautiful gigantic flowers & pinwheels for your garden & the Hub. Workshop for the whole family.
• Hula Hooping (weather permitting) 12.30–1.30pm outside by the outdoor gym.
• Film showing 1.45-2.00pm – Old newsreel film of the opening of Model Traffic Area plus our film about the Hub.
