Apple Day 30 October 2022

Lots of fun for children, who can try taking a turn at juicing apples, peeling the longest peel, testing their apple knowledge in a quiz, ‘bobbing’ for apples in this traditional game, and ( with parents ‘ and expert help) 3 families can name, plant and undertake to help maintain a baby apple tree in Lordship Rec.

Plus a Display and chance to taste unusual and heritage varieties of apples…..and lots of delicious apples and apple based food and drink for sale, cakes, pies, juice. Cider etc.
