Fly on the wall documentary about the daily lives of the Afro-Caribbean community on Broadwater Farm Estate. The estate was the scene of the infamous 1985 riots – which erupted after the death of a local Black mother, Cynthia Jarrett, after a police raid at her home.
This documentary features some well-known local personalities: Millard Scott, Seaton Brown, Stafford Scott, Clasford Stirling, Bernie Grant MP, Dolly Kiffin, the father of Winston Silcott & many more.
Clasford, who went on to create and manage Broadwater United Football Club and its many youth teams, was also a founder, along with the Friends of Lordship Rec, of the Lordship Rec Users Forum which led on the 2012 regeneration and renaissance of Lordship Rec next to the Estate.
