International Women’s Day

Tuesday 8 March 1.30-3.15

To celebrate International Women’s Day at the Hub come and join us for an inspiring and informative afternoon.

1.30 – 1.45pm:            Welcome – hot drinks and snacks (café also open)

1.45 – 2.30pm             Film Showing – The End of an Era: Women and Work post WW2 in Bermondsey & Rotherhithe Filmed between 2018-19 this wonderful documentary captures the voices and social history of the working class, docklands districts. Debra Watson (staff members) produced the film and she will be at this screening to tell us a little more about its background and to answer any questions.

2.30pm – 3.05pm        Local inspirational woman promoting female health and wealth. Marie Henry set up and very successfully runs ‘Breadline London’ supporting local families

3.05pm – 3.15pm        Coaching for Women – Brief introduction to new ‘She Power’ group by Issy Harvey (member of staff)

Our focus will be women’s stories but all genders are very welcome to attend.
