Would you like to find out how you could become a paid personal assistant?
Personal assistants work directly with one or more individuals to help them with various aspects of their daily life, so they can live as independently as possible. Many people appreciate the consistency of having one-to-one support from someone they know well and get on with. The role can involve helping someone with tasks in their home and/or taking someone out, such as shopping or taking part in social activities as well as offering friendship and companionship.
This information session will cover pay, expectations of the role, training and how to register. Delivered by Disability Action Haringey
