Creative dance for parents and their little ones

We move from the moment we are conceived and it is through movement that we develop and relate to one another. At Rhythm ‘n’ Cuddles we believe that dance is a great way to foster the parent-child bond as it promotes deep listening, meaningful and mindful play. Our classes are designed in order for parents to release tension and feel more present, thus getting a chance to reconnect with themselves and their little ones so that their relationship remains fine-tuned for many years to come!

In order to broaden our music repertoire, every week we dance to a different playlist inspired by world music. Get ready to move on the floor and see things from a similar perspective as your child, explore playful movement, engage in creative games and learn simple steps that will help you loosen up those dance moves!

In the second part of this class parents with smaller babies will be invited to carry them in a sling so they can enjoy the closeness while moving their bodies. Older babies and toddlers are encouraged to move freely through space: if the grown ups are relaxed and engaged, chances are high that the little ones will join the fun too!

Tuesdays 3-4pm at Lordship Hub

£8 drop-in or £35 for 5 classes (to be used in 3 months)
